How to Register with PtHA

WANT TO REGISTER A HORSE, PONY OR MINI AT A SHOW?

HERE ARE SOME TYPICAL QUESTIONS AND THEIR ANSWERS


Q: What arrangements should I make prior to the show?

A: Telephone, Email or Facebook Field Representative to make arrangements for temporary registration. Usually, registration inspections and paperwork may be scheduled on the show grounds prior to first class the animal shows.

 

Q: What materials will I need in order to register my animal?

A: If your animal is registered with another association, you will need a copy of that association’s registration papers. Field Representative will have a form to be filled out and take the 4 pictures of the animal.

 

Q: Do I need a PtHA Membership?

A: Yes You need a current PtHA Membership. The Field Representative and or show office can get you a temporary membership form to fill out with membership fee of $60.00.

 

Q: Will I be able to show my animal at the show where the paperwork for the temporary registration is completed?

A: YES, just take all the paperwork to show office and fill out the show forms and you can show

 

Q: How Long will it take for the regular registration papers to be mailed to me?

A: You should allow at least 6-9 weeks. In the meantime, you can continue to show using the temporary paperwork. When you get the registration and/or membership cards in the mail please make sure you give them to Ohio Pinto show office so they can update all the numbers

Q: What is the cost to register a horse at the show?

A: $135.00 by a check made to PtHA or Credit Card
