I was born and raised in Rootstown, Ohio. I still live there on the farm that has been in our family for three generations.

Schools Attended and Activities:
I attended Rootstown Local School. I was a very active 4-H saddle horse member and showed horses with both the C.O.S.C.A. and Ohio Quarter Horse. I attended Both Walsh University and Kent State University, where I now work.

Please describe what you do for a living:
I am the Accounting Specialist for the College of business Administration at Kent State University. I help with budgeting and awarding assistantships to graduate students.

Please state your involvement in any extracurricular activities and any charities or community service:
My family is very active in the local community and we enjoy giving back when possible. Currently. PtHAO is the major recipient of my volunteer work. I am not only the youth advisor, but also sever on the Board of Directors and assist with a variety of other committees.

Please discuss your current and past horses along with show highlights:
I got my all-around start on my Appaloosa, Royal Bees Tonka Joe. He taught me a lot and allowed me to try a wide variety of classes, including saddle seat equitation! I eventually bought my Quarter Horse, Hobbys Headlight, he was an amazing partner who helped advance my horse show career and my start with showing at Ohio Quarter Horse shows. I won OQHA's Novice Amateur Equitation in 1999 with Congenial Star and was top 10 overall Novice Amateur. After a 10+ year break from horses, I came back and made my debut at the Pinto horse shows in 2013 with Sheza Double Stuffed Heathen (Oreo). That same year Oreo and I paced 4th at the PWC in Novice Amateur Trail... I was sold and loved the bold colored horses! In 2019 I was PWC Reserve World Champion in Senior Amateur Ideal Pinto Western with Guaranteed Sweetheart (Jane), the highlight of my show career to date. I look forward to continuing to show Jane with Ohio Pinto and introduce my newest show horse that was breed and born on my farm, Reckless Invitation.

Do you have a hobby other than horses?
I enjoy spending time with my family. I love to snow ski in the winter and spend time boating in the summer when not showing horses. I also love to sew and create, I make all my own show clothes!
